Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sevilla return to European action on Tuesday night, hoping to secure a place in the UEFA Europa League semi-finals.

For the first time ever, the Europa League season will end with a mini tournament in Germany, where the competition will be played to a conclusion due to safety concerns and time constraints caused by the global pandemic.

Wolves and Sevilla face each other at the MSV-Arena in Duisburg, with the winners going through to play Manchester United in the last four.

For the English side, this is a first European quarter-final in almost half a century, when in 1972 they beat Juventus en route to the UEFA Cup Final. This will be a very different set of circumstances, with a single-legged tie at a neutral venue rather than the traditional home and away fixtures, but the test will be no less stern.

Sevilla, who beat Roma 2-0 to reach this stage, have won this competition more times than any other club – twice when it was the UEFA Cup, and three times with its current moniker.

The Spanish side have also only lost once in this season’s tournament, in the group stage against APOEL once top spot had already been secured with five consecutive victories.

United will be the semi-final test for whoever wins this one, with one of Inter Milan, Shakhtar Donetsk or FC Basel awaiting in the final.

The Europa League returns with the quarter-finals on Tuesday 11th August at 8.00pm BST, with the final being held on Friday 21st August. Read on to find out how you can watch all remaining matches, wherever you are in the world, including Wolves vs Sevilla in glorious 4K Ultra HD.

Spurs vs Rockets

Rockets vs Spurs Live: The Houston Rockets (44-25) will take on the San Antonio Spurs (31-38) Tuesday at 2 p.m. ET in the NBA’s Orlando bubble. We analyze the Rockets-Spurs NBA betting odds and lines, with picks and best bets. Here is Rockets vs Spurs Live Streaming Watch Online on Your PC, TV, MAC, iPad, iPhone and More.

The Rockets defense has shown signs of improvement in several ways, but Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said it still needs to get better for the start of the playoffs next week and through the post-season.

“Hopefully, even in the playoffs, each series will get better as the games go on and you get more familiar with other teams, the way they want to play,” D’Antoni said. “I’m happy, never satisfied, but really happy.

The Rockets have ranked sixth defensively during the seeding games, leading the NBA in steals and deflections, and ranking second behind the Spurs in charges drawn per game.

“We are small, but we make up for it in a lot of different ways,” Rockets forward Robert Covington said. “We have to be able to really lock in no matter what. We can’t have too many letups.

“We know what we have to do. We know we’re a good team on the offensive end. But being a team that plays smallball … we don’t have room for many errors. We’re one of the best scoring teams … but our defense has to be just as good. Coach said to us today since we’ve been here, our defense has picked up a lot. We have to keep building on that.”

A game after playing the Kings, who lead the NBA in screen assists and points averaged per game on screen assists, the Rockets will play the Spurs, who set many off-ball screens. That offers a test of the Rockets’ communication, an area of emphasis since the restart practices began.

“It (the communication on switches) is much better,” D’Antoni said. “We’ve really been stressing that since we’ve been back practicing and then playing. Players are doing real well. We have a couple lapses here and there. It’s been real good. It needs to be great going into the playoffs.”

Rockets vs Spurs

Rockets vs Spurs Live: The San Antonio Spurs will continue fighting for their playoff spot when they meet the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday afternoon. The Spurs sit two games back of the No. 8 Memphis Grizzlies while New Orleans is trailing the Spurs and fighting for their own spot in the NBA playoffs.

The Houston Rockets have been one of the best teams in the bubble since the restart and today they will meet the San Antonio Spurs, who are still fighting their way into the play-in tournament for the No. 8 seed.

The Rockets will be without James Harden as he gets a rest day before the start of the playoffs. The Spurs have everything to play for in this game and have come into the bubble with an invigorated team that is looking to advance to the play-in game.

Blackhawks vs Golden Knights

Blackhawks vs Golden Knights Live: The First Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs begins August 11. Before the NHL postseason resumes play, PHT will preview each of the eight opening round matchups, including Blackhawks and Golden Knights. Here is Blackhawks vs Golden Knights Live Streaming Watch Online on Your PC, TV, MAC, iPad, iPhone and More.

The Vegas Golden Knights are expected to get a major boost going into the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

After suffering a minor injury during Phase 3 of formal training camps that forced him to miss all three round-robin games, Max Pacioretty is “in the bubble” of Edmonton and should be ready to go for Game 1 of the first round against the Blackhawks. He completed his mandatory quarantine and will practice with the team on Monday, head coach Pete DeBoer said.

A six-time 30-goal scorer, Pacioretty led the Golden Knights in the regular season with 32 goals and 66 points. He participated in the NHL All-Star Game in January for the first time in his career and was the lone representative for Vegas.

Expect Pacioretty to play on the first line with Mark Stone. When the two of them were on the ice together at even strength this season, the Golden Knights controlled 60.6 percent of the shot attempts, 64.8 percent of the scoring chances and had a goal differential of plus-18, according to Natural Stat Trick.

The Golden Knights were already a deep team. And they just got even more dangerous with the return of Pacioretty.

Hurricanes vs Bruins

Hurricanes vs Bruins Live: The Carolina Hurricanes and the Boston Bruins renew acquaintances in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. Here is Hurricanes vs Bruins Live Streaming Watch Online on Your PC, TV, MAC, iPad, iPhone and More.

Hurricanes vs. Bruins: Projected starting goalies
Petr Mrazak vs. Tuukka Rask

Mrazek is expected to be in between the pipes for Game 1, a rematch of last season’s Eastern Conference Finals. The Hurricanes hope it goes a little better than that last series, as Mrazek and Carolina were overmatched in a series sweep. Mrazek didn’t face the B’s in this regular season. The last time he saw the Bruins he was on the short end of a 6-2 loss in Game 2 of the ECF. Mrazek allowed six goals on 25 shots in that defeat, and he was 0-2-0 with a 5.02 goals-against average and .808 save percentage in the series.

Rask is confirmed for Game 1, and hopefully he and his team will fare better than their round-robin performance – they lost all three games and looked like a non-playoff team. The Bruins feel as if they’ll be able to turn it on now that the “real” playoffs are here, but against a young, hungry team like the Hurricanes, we will see. It wasn’t a problem last season in the ECF, as Rask was a dominant 4-0 with a 1.25 GAA and .956 SV% in the four-game sweep.

Flames vs Stars

Flames vs Stars Live: The First Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs begins August 11. Before the NHL postseason resumes play, PHT will preview each of the eight opening round matchups, including Stars vs Flames. Here is Flames vs Stars Live Streaming Watch Online on Your PC, TV, MAC, iPad, iPhone and More.

  1. Will there be much offense?
Looking at this matchup on paper and it looks like it has the potential to be a defensive slugfest. Both teams finished the regular season among the bottom-10 in the league in goals, while the Stars barely generated anything during the Round-Robin phase.

Along with their lack of offense, the Stars boast one of the league’s best goaltending duos and have two top-tier defenders in Miro Heiskanen and John Klingberg.

Add in the fact that Cam Talbot has been great so far for Calgary in the playoffs and offense could be very limited in this series.

  1. The Flames could use a breakout postseason from Johnny Gaudreau
Even though he had a bit of a down year (by his standards; he was still very productive overall) Gaudreau is one of the league’s best and most productive offensive players.

The only knock on him coming into this season is that his postseason performances have not always matched the regular season totals.

Before this season he had gone nine consecutive playoff games without a goal, a stretch that also saw him record just three assists. Sometimes these things get overblown. Even the very best players are prone to get extended periods without scoring a goal. No one is “consistent” with their production while there are always peaks and valleys that players go through. When those valleys happen in the playoffs, they tend to stand out. Still, if the Flames are going to do anything in the playoffs they are going to need Gaudreau to play a central role in the offense. He got off to a good start in the Qualifying with a pair of goals and an assist in the four games.

  1. The Matthew Tkachuk factor
Tkachuk is the absolute last player you want to see in the playoffs.

He is a legit first-line talent and can beat you on the scoreboard on any given shift. He is a 30-goal, 70-point player and is still probably just hitting his peak as an offensive contributor.

That is scary enough.

But then you add in the fact that when you have to play against him every game for as many as seven consecutive games and his shenanigans are going to quickly start annoying everybody. He is going to get under your skin. It is a given. It is what he does and the way he plays. The question is how much the Stars let that impact them.

  1. Who is going to step up offensively for the Stars?
This has been the big question for the Stars for two years now.

Since the start of the 2018-19 season only three teams (Anaheim, Los Angeles and Detroit — three of the league’s worst teams) have scored fewer goals than the Stars.

When it comes to 5-on-5 play, only Detroit has scored goals at a lower rate per 60 minutes than the Stars over that stretch.

They simply do not generate offense. They have their share of potential impact players (Tyler Seguin and Alexander Radulov) but they have not really been able to find much offense around them. And even Radulov had a bit of a down year this season. They attempted to address their scoring depth over the offseason with the free agency additions of Joe Pavelski and Corey Perry, but neither signing has really worked out as hoped or expected.

Denis Gurianov and Roope Hintz have become nice secondary players, but are they going to be enough to give the Stars enough offense to make a deep run in the playoffs?

The cliche in hockey is always going to be about defense and goaltending winning championships, but you still need some offense as well. In their past 12 games dating back to the regular season — and including the three Round-Robin games — they have managed just 20 total goals, scored more than two goals just three times, won only three of those games, and been shut out three different times. The Stars are not just a bad offensive team that has struggled to score goals at times. They have consistently been one of the absolute worst offensive teams in the league — right there with the top lottery teams — for two consecutive years now. It is a problem.

  1. Prediction: Flames in 7
As good as the Stars are in goal and on the blue line, I still think their offense is going to hold the back when it matters most. As long as Cam Talbot gives the Flames more steady play in net they do enough to scratch out a win in a series that could go the distance.

Head-to-Head Analysis
This will be the fourth meeting between the current No. 1 and 3 seeds in the West this season. NBA picks Nuggets Lakers could take into account the most recent meeting in February as the best resource for what might happen but forward Michael Porter Jr. scored just two points and barely played in the only game he got in against the Purple and Gold this season.

Los Angeles knocked off Denver in the Mile High City in early December, but the Nuggets returned the favor three weeks later behind 21 points from Paul Millsap. Overtime was needed to decide the third contest, leading to a triple-double from LeBron James in a 120-116 victory. James and Anthony Davis combined to score 65 points as both players shot better than 50 percent from the floor.

Point guard Jamal Murray returned to action for the Nuggets on Saturday night. He was a little rusty from the floor, making just 40 percent of his field goals, but he added 12 rebounds and eight assists to showcase why he is the second-most important player on this team.

Murray also caught fire after a slow start and was really productive in taking over late in the fourth quarter and OT, dueling with Utah’s Donovan Mitchell. Murray is the only perimeter player on Denver that can create his own shot, so his health is important throughout the playoffs.
